Who Will Build Our Future
Who will build our future? It is a question that
requires an urgent answer.
The growing
shortage of skilled trades in Saskatchewan is negatively impacting
our economy, our rate of growth, and the cost of new construction.
Current efforts to recruit, retain, and train trades people are
falling well behind an ever-growing demand fuelled by the aging
workforce.
In response, the
Saskatchewan Construction Association (SCA) has launched the
"Who will build our future?" initiative which calls
for immediate action from the provincial government.
